It has been machine shaped and smoothed, giving it a uniform size all along the rail. If you are looking for a traditional agricultural looking fence then simply attaching the machine half round rails to fence posts using 100mm nails can create the perfect look. This sort of design is great for fencing in animals as the smooth wood will not damage their skin or coats. For this reason machine half round rails are very popular with customers who run stables and pony paddocks.
