Stock fencing is usually installed by fixing to rounded treated softwood or hardwood timber posts or square sawn stakes of a suitable thickness and height to produce a solid barrier.Corner and anchor posts should be braced as these will take the tension.The wire netting should be nailed to the timber posts using our galvanised U-nails. Galvanised steel straining fencing line wires should be used to keep the wire mesh taut and under tension, and must be installed at the top and sometimes base of the netting. For applications where climbing may occur or where animals like cows may push down on the top of the fencing wire, barbed should be installed to protect the fencing and stop potential climbers.
